Chicharon de Camiling

When I was working for a small television back in 2010, I got the chance to explore new places and experience tasty dishes. In one particular episode, I produced a feature about the unique deep-fried pork skins of Camiling, Tarlac aptly named Chicharon de Camiling. I'm happy to share with you a few of the photos I have of that episode featuring this delicious delicacy.

Nothing could be more mouth-watering and so crispy on the skin yet tender on the inside than the chicharon (fried pork skins made in the town of Camiling, Tarlac.

Nothing is wasted by the Camilenos when they prepare Chicharon de Camiling. The oil where they deep-fry the pork skins is sold in bottles.
